New Challenges: Starting Something New And How To Conquer It

Starting something new – sometimes we wish for it, and other times it’s forced onto us. It’s life, so we just roll with the punches.

Regardless of the fact if it was hoped for (a new job) or not really wanted (undesired change), how we handle it is the same.

In this example, I’ll be talking about changing jobs – because someone not only wrote in asking me about it but also my better half just changed her job and entered a new field.

New Job

So, as I said, it could be new anything.  The first thing you have to do, on paper or in your mind, is to figure out where this new opportunity makes you second guess yourself. For example, are they the job duties or the way the work needs to get done? Or is it the new location or tasks?

Figure out what is making you worry or create stress.
